We stayed here for 2 nights during the labor day weekend. The staff were friendly and gave us a veteran discount. The store is kept very clean and was well stocked with items you might need like mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, wood, and many RV supplies. The playground was in good repair and clean. There was an ice cream social on the Sunday we visited which was very appreciated.
It was a nice experience.
The staff is very nice but our TV does not come in and no WiFi was told the issue would be resolved but 3 days later nothing
We had an issue with our power pole, 30A. The surge protector indicated a problem. I checked the adjacent site and found it okay. While waiting for the staff to okay a move, I checked the 50A with my adapter. It showed reverse polarity and low power on one leg. We moved to the adjacent site. The surge protector then quit working. It would not set. I reluctantly plugged in without it. Seemed to be okay. The campground had an electrician check it out. Per the manager, they found nothing wrong. I didn't expect anything different. I'm out the cost of a replacement. Another issue i have is the cleanliness or actually the lack of. The last camper left trash and dumped their charcoal on the parking pad. I told a staff member about it. Guess what its still there, 3 days now. We DO NOT RECOMMEND this location. We will not return to this location.
Our deluxe tent site, A7, was very neat and clean, but the trees don't really provide any shade. We had to go to the recreation center to escape the sun and heat during the hottest part of the day. The deluxe tent site included a pole with a light on top. The pole had a switch for the light, multiple normal power plugs, an appliance plug, and 2 water spigots. Our neighbor had their TV hooked up and apparently had cable.
Staff was very attentive and plesant. Cabin was not that clean or well kept. Upon arriving at our cabin my wife noticed a couple of big bugs over the cabin door. After bugs were dispatched and opening the door we noticed some kind of dirt on the mattress. We contacted one of the staff they cleaned the mattress. Later I discovered that it is impossible to take a hot shower the water only gets warm. The following morning we discovered a large roach carcass on the floor next to the bed. We felt for the money spent for the cabin should have been in better condition. Oh I left the best part out, there was a big depression that held water just in front of the cabin #3. Needless to say it was very challenging to get to and from the car to the cabin without getting in standing water and mud. They did have gravel for the parking area but none from the parking to the cabin. Other cabins may be nice but we got a substandard one. We should have stayed some other place.
First time staying here very nice campground very nice people working here. Pet friendly and nice playground for children. Beautiful pool !!
