The receptionist Jamie, is not very pleasant. She talks through you, not to you. She doesn't listen when you talk to her and try to explain situations to her. If it wasn't for the fact I refuse to drive downtown, I wouldn't bring my son back to this specialty clinic solely because of her!!!!
Jametras is unprofessional and dismissive. In an environment where children are the main concern, this individual takes no care in reflecting sincerity nor compassion when assisting those who are in her presence. I was yelled at, spoken over and insulted the whole time I was there signing in to have my daughter seen by a doctor. She must not know, but she is a reflection of MUSC and all what this establishment stands for. How can you continue to have this individual work in a position where patients are supposed to be her priority? What a horrible experience my family and I had to endure and not only was it upsetting for myself, but my children as well. The entire lobby heard our conversation, or lack thereof, because she was practically screaming at me. How do you 'Strive for a five' with that kind of attitude? I have seen other doctors within the MUSC network and because of this I will no longer consider nor recommend MUSC as place to visit for any health care needs. Please make a positive change within your registration department, for anyone to feel like they don't matter when they are in your establishment is just horrible.
Wait times are excellent and so is the service. Very pleasant, professional and highly knowledgeable staff.
Dr. Anderson and nurse Elizabeth were absolutely amazing! I was in and out within an hr. Dr. Anderson took her time and listened to my concerns about my 1 yr old and gave her the proper and fast treatment. She sat with me and explained directions and went over concerns. So glad I took my 1 yr here.
I wish I could rate as zero stars or negative 1. The evening receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. I have had to stand at the counter and be ignored for minutes before being assisted (no other patients were even in the lobby)!!!!They basically charge you a copay and "send you on your way" meanwhile your child has the same symptoms weeks and months later only to have gotten worse. Get everything in writing because a verbal comment will be presented then denied the next second. Take your child to the ER or pediatrician!
